The aquatic centre Les Bains des Docks in Le Havre, France, is the jewel of Jean Nouvel opera – French architect of renown.

Fascinated from the beginning by architecture and environment, the place inspired me the series « Fear of a Blue Planet » and its 24 pictures, dedicated to the animals species endangered.

I used my pictures of the place as supports for the staging of endangered animal species, a theme I am particularly sensitive in, and I have deliberately incorporated them as gurines so as to alert about the hazard of their impending loss. I wish by this work to offer them an ultimate haven.

“Human civilisation is going into collision with the natural world upon which is founded our flourishing prosperity.”

The Future Al Gore

A growing part of society is entering into a collective awareness phase. This sensitivity doesn’t only focus on global warming but also on the environment in general including all the endangered species.

This is the main theme of my work.

This work can be visualized(displayed) in photographic support but also in movie in the form of slide show. 23 minutes
