24 hours of live creation through recycling
The Braderie de l'Art was born in 1991 from an idea of the plastic artist Fanny Bouyagui. During 24 hours non stop, 150 artists and designers are locked up face to face with of a huge stock of recycled materials. Along a one-of-a-kind live workshop, they create original pieces and sell them directly to the public between 1 and 300 euros.
It's a free creation venue dedicated to up-cycling in all its forms.
RE-DESIGN / ECO-DESIGN / CUSTOM – DO IT YOURSELF trends
The public experiences a unique artistic moment as the creators revisit ancient forms to imagine new ones. At the term of this surrealistic limbo, everyday items are given a new life and encounter new owners.
The Braderie de l'Art is a platform where Low-tech and High-tech design processes cross roads. During the event itself, the artists have access to last generation numerical control machine-tools and 3D printers.
