As part of the Conference of Creative Parties ArtCOP21, COAL and the Gaité lyrique invite you every afternoon, from 1 to 11 December, to a face to face with an international artist recognised for their commitment to climate challenges.

For more than ten years, the artist Stefan Shankland, designs and realizes projects dealing with transformation process in the urban contexts, industrial and natural, in France and abroad. His artistic research is based on the post-consumption process, wastes and their management , or the recycling practices of the material. Stefan Shankland is the winner of the COAL Prize for Art and Environment in 2011 and leads currently the project TRANS305 which is a prototype of Démarche H.Q.A.C (High Artistic and Cultural Quality) .
