Gaia Global Circus engages the public in the big questions around COP21 and climate change through theater - with a touch of humor.
The philosopher Bruno Latour dreamed, artists did. The play of Pierre Daubigny, directed by Frédérique Aït - Touati et Chloé Latour, with Matthieu Protin, Jade Collinet, Luigi Cerri and Claire Astruc, gives a poetic reality to major issues. Gaia, our Mother Earth, has had enough humans, it will reject us because we have done it too. We meet scientists unearth ice core, Noah will negotiate a bank loan to build his Ark, Virginia who wants to alert the planet and is contradicted by a Ted, in the pay of big business interests... A canopy supported by helium balloons and created by Olivier Vallet Rémouleurs Company, will fly over us, envelop us. A poetic work encouraging citizens to ask the right questions during COP21.
Coproduction Toulouse Métropole, Comédie de Reims, et Compagnie AccenT.
