The photographs, the installations, in this exhibition cross the viewpoints of two artists on the plant world, natural, denatured, re-natured. They evoke the beauty of the world and the urgency to safeguard it.
François Cardi’s quadriptychs “The vegetal parenthesis” question the market products of nature, fruit and vegetables, and their destiny as waste on a parisien market place.
Other photographs in black and white express certain states of nature, domesticated and re-natured.
Dominique Gayman’s paintings “Primary green” open viewpoints like screens of nature.
The installation “Nature denatured” questions a threatened nature where animal species become collection specimens, ornaments, relics.
