Des radio-fictions choisis dans le cadre du projet "Climate Change Theater Action" : quatre courtes pièces d'auteurs de Côte d'Ivoire, du Canada et des États-Unis sont lues par les étudiants.

Four plays selected by students from the Climate Action Theater project: "Starving to Death in Midtown" by Mindy Dickstein, about the fate of the bees; "The Same Bullshit" by Koffi Kwahule about the proposed eviction of garbage dump dwellers to make way for a golf course; "The Cow Is Dead" by Deborah Zoe Laufer, an inter-generational argument about meat and climate change, and "Portuguese Tomato" by Elaine Avila, about food, memory and resistance, are given dramatic readings by John Jay College students from the Environmental Justice and Theater and Justice classes of professor Karen Malpede (whose full-length play "Extreme Whether" will be seen in Paris as part of ArtCop21). Students then discuss the environmental and climate change issues raised by these plays.

This radio program is suitable for listening and discussion in schools as well as by the general public. Students at John Jay College involved in this project live in New York City and are African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Caucasian-Americans and also, are recent immigrants to the U.S. from Russia, Crimea, Pakistan, the Middle East, Africa, and elsewhere. Broadcast on RADio568.com -- November 30 - December 5 @ 9am EST
