Lancement du projet "FutureCoast" : Nous essayons de connaitre notre avenir et nous avons besoin de votre aide.
An extended exploration/development of Ken Eklund’s online game ‘FutureCoast’ - http://futurecoast.org/ - in which participants are invited to imagine that they live in a climate-changed future. They make recordings of their voices talking about any aspect of life, in ‘voicemails from the future’, which are then available online for anyone to listen to. We will deepen engagement with this imaginative game with a range of activities, both gallery-based and off-site (including our FutureCoast Youth pilot project)
At a FutureCoast launch event on September 26, a FutureBooth (a phone booth for voicemails from the ‘cloud of possible futures’) will take centre stage in the gallery. This will happen again in December during COP21, and voicemails will be shared in Paris. The project will culminate in an exhibition of new work inspired by ‘FutureCoast’ and similar imagination-and-futures-oriented initiatives in 2017.
Please get in touch if you would like to get involved!
