COAL Art and Environment Prize
Climate and the Oceans
Award Ceremony 17 September 2015
Museum of Hunting and Nature, Paris
Since 2010, the Prix COAL Art & Environment has been mobilising artists on major contemporary social and environmental issues and contribute towards the emergence of a new culture of change.
Each year it celebrates ten projects related to environmental issues, selected through a call for international projects. One artist is awarded the Prix COAL Art & Environment by a jury of art and ecology professionals.
Now in its fifth year, the COAL Prize Art and Environment has become an international meeting of artists committed to ecological transition. With over 1000 projects from more than 60 countries, it is showcasing an unprecedented wealth of visionary proposals that address our current environmental issues.
In 2015, the Prize COAL Art and Environment will focus on ArtCOP21 and invite international projects proposed by artists from around the world.
The COAL Prize 2015 will be awarded at a gathering of artists and major players in art and sustainable development during a ceremony at the Museum of Hunting and Nature in Paris on the 17th September 2015.
