To contextualize the contemporary light installation ‘Particle Falls’ by Andrea Polli, the Mona Bismarck American Center is hosting a roundtable at COP21 which will focus on notions of landscape, beauty of nature and the place of militancy in the history of American art.

Organized in partnership with the Terra Foundation and led by François Brunet, professor of visual culture of the United States and co-author of The American images, visual History and culture of the United States, the roundtable will consist of Bénédicte Ramade, art historian specializing in History of American Landscape, Alan Braddock, Associate Professor of History and American Studies and Celine Flécheux, Doctor of Philosophy and master of Aesthetics Conference.
