To mark the launch of the COP21, the UN Climate Conference in Paris, the French Institute of Aachen, in cooperation with Apollo Kino & Bar Aachen, invites you to a film on the theme of global warming.

The new documentary "Ice and Heaven" by French director Luc Jacquet will be presented in German with French subtitles. The Oscar winner for ‘March of the Penguins’ takes us this time to 1957, when the scientist Claude Lorius went to study the ice of Antarctica. It tells the story of our earth, of our future, a future intimately linked to the human impact on our planet. A human and scientific adventure out of the ordinary, the story of a life spent hunting down deep ice and well kept secrets of the climate.

This screening will be held Monday, November 30 at 18h at the Apollo Kino, which is the first day of the COP21 in Paris, to be held until December 11.
