Ten African artists present a range of striking environmental art-interventions.
Three activities will take place:
1. Oswald Boston's "Street Land Art" work. Displayed in a popular neighbourhood of Villetaneuse, France - this is street art creation of the portrait of a girl of the neighbourhood, imagining her future in a world warmed by 2 degrees.
2. Evanson Mbugua recycles plastic graphic signs of the city in a plastic form - displaying visions of a catastrophic, climatic future.
3. Douts places the city at the centre of his paintings by painting walls across Villetaneuse - giving a rallying cry for our environment in bright, urgent colours.
Guided tours around the city will explore these artworks and enable discussions on the role of art in impacting real social and environmental change.
