The Santa Cruz entry in the international Climate Change Theater Action, including stand-up comedy, short plays, live music, film, and speakers - all to inspire your creativity in addressing the most serious threat to human civilization.

The actors will be performing short plays written for the international event by playwrights around the world, including Arthur Kopit and Neil Labute, all of whom also donated their efforts. Richard Stockton will be performing his unique and original stand-up comedy and he, Quinn Becker, and Katelyn Praly will sing for us. Jeffrey Kiehl, climate scientist and analyst, will speak about how art reaches people and moves them to act in ways that science and politics can’t. Short films will demonstrate how ordinary people can have an impact on this life-changing issue. Information will be available about what YOU can do.

Produced by Peter Gelblum. Sponsored by Mountain Community Theater, Santa Cruz Actors Theater, Santa Cruz Sierra Club, and Joan Van Antwerp, with the technical assistance of Bonnie Ronzio, Erik Gandolfi, and Alie Mac.
