Placed in the public space COPBox allows any citizen to record a personal video message to the negotiators from 195 countries participating in the COP21. Oriented awareness of climate issues, it will be the symbol of citizen mobilization throughout ArtCOP21 until December.
The climate is everyone's business and without the involvement of citizens, international negotiations that will take place during the 21th United Nations Climate Conference (COP21), can not succeed. To account for citizen determination and raise its voice with decision makers, the COAL Association Art and Ecology and the agency LEMOAL & LEMOAL Architects have designed the COPBox, participatory module designed to collect citizen speech and raise awareness of climate issues.
This micro-architecture arranged in the public space is equipped with a digital application that allows every citizen to share his ideas for the climate by recording a personalized video message to the negotiators from 195 countries met at the COP21.
In both unique and bound by the identity of the COPBox, these messages are the symbol of the collective international mobilization for the climate. They are freely distributed on social networks, on the website of ArtCOP21, cultural agenda of COP21; transmitted to the Secretariat General of the COP21 and a selection of the best messages will be projected at the Paris on the official website of the COP21.
