It’s the Skin You’re Living In is an iPhone app which explores and challenges images of climate change, and suggests that climate change isn’t a matter of distant landscapes and threatened species, but part of our daily lives.

A dismantled polar bear costume, repeated actions, and walking, walking walking…

Shot in a series of locations from the high Arctic to a kitchen in London, the film suggests that climate change isn’t a matter of distant landscapes and threatened species, but part of our daily lives.

It’s the Skin You’re Living In iPhone App brings together groups of people to watch the film across the screens of their phones. The more phones are linked together by the app, the more versions of the film are revealed. It’s a portable, bespoke film installation that sits in the palm of your hand.

It can be downloaded for free from the App Store – by searching “It’s the Skin You’re Living In” or “Fevered Sleep” – and played at home, in the office, on the train, in cafes or anywhere else you can get online.
