The Departmental Domain of Chamarande and COAL invite you this Sunday, October 11 to celebrate art and science and inaugurate the first laboratory dedicated to sustainable culture: LAB Chamarande!

LAB invites artists, scientists and innovators of social and environmental field in residence at Chamarande departmental Domain to explore and address together the great challenges of tomorrow's world.

Guest artists, referents on environmental issues, experimenting with new processes of ecological thinking and sustainable development issues related to the departmental Domain of Chamarande. Associated with young scientists, they feed together collaborative projects on the border of art and science.

For the launch of LAB, The Departmental Domain of Chamarande and COAL propose to address the issue of soil that is at the heart of current climate issues, in collaboration with two artists, Yesenia Thibault-Picazo and Anaïs Clipper, and four Scientists, Marine Legrand, Germain Meulemans, Alan Vergnes etNathalie Blanc.

Let's meet with COAL and Nathalie Blanc, geographer associated with the Laboratory of Social Dynamics and Redial Spaces (LADYSS) around artists Yesenia Thibault-Picazo and Anaïs Clipper and scientific Marine Legrand, Germain Meulemans and Alan Vergnes to discuss early experiences Domaine conducted on soils; and meet the artist Liliana Motta Landscape on differentiated management project Inhabiting the border launched in 2013. 15.30-16.30 / workshop-encounter: the struggle for land in Essonne
Witness the return of the residence EROS Mission (Squadron Reconnaissance and Observation Sensitive) conducted by the Essonne Coloco collective, and connect with Pablo Georgieff, landscape architect and founder of Coloco, the transformations of the rural landscape / urban and issues of territory in a changing department. 16.30-17.30 / Soils Study: history under our feet
Participate, alongside a team of geologists and ecologists, to the analysis of Domaine soil around a soil pit; then study the functioning of an ant to understand how our activities influence soil ... RDV at the castle
