Before COP21, what can citizens they want to say on the issue of climate? How do they feel concerned? How do they speak? Await the negotiating? That they feel on a personal level? Give the word that is the goal of this show.
"I would expect more to see a goat successfully occupy a position as a gardener than see humans become responsible stewards of the Earth." James Lovelock
The show "The world and us" is the result of a collective work from the voices of the inhabitants of urban and rural municipalities of Poitou-Charentes. He talks about what is happening today in connection with global warming. How to express what is changing at the planetary scale, but also under our feet, above our heads and just around us? This is the goal of this show, carried by the voices of these people. The different areas of the house of actor Maria Casares are used to restore, through individual and group sequences, the whirlwind of emotions, anxieties, fears or laughter, debate and reflection, evoked by sounds, words, songs, gestures and noises, directed and music by composer Jean Pierre Seyvos in harmony with Chantal Latour and complicity of Charlene Martin singer, accordionist Pascal Contet and landscape gardener Gilles Clément.
The show will be a video film produced for broadcast in Poitou-Charentes region and during the COP21 (World Climate Conference) in November / December 2015 in Paris.
