This radical new funding scheme initiated by artist Ellie Harrison will be launched in Glasgow as part of the The Only Way Is Ethics festival and ArtCOP Scotland at the CCA. Once up-and-running, RRAAF will comprise a large publicly sited wind turbine, used to generate renewable energy to fund a ‘no strings attached’ grant scheme for radical art and activist projects.

The RRAAF project concept and fundraising campaign will be launched in Glasgow during December 2015 with a series of publicity stunts featuring the RRAAF Mascot as part of The Only Way Is Ethics festival and ArtCOP Scotland. These will culminate in the Launch Event at the CCA on Thursday 17 December 2015, 18:30 – 20:00 featuring presentations by Ellie Harrison and Community Energy Scotland about how they hope to make the RRAAF project a reality in 2016-7.

The RRAAF project is being developed with support from After The News, Community Energy Scotland, Beaconsfield London and CCA Glasgow.
