Through theater, dance and music, ReCONNECT invites the audience to share a poetic moment facing our uncertainties and vulnerability, knowing the reality of the ecological crisis. It's also an opportunity to connect with our collective power, our hopes and all those little moments that makes us want to be alive.
7 artists. A book. 10 months of research and exploration on our emotions face the ecological crisis.
We exchanged, danced, thought, played, cried, laughed, asked ...
In the end, we probably have more questions than answers. And we would like to live with you.
Between sadness, anger, powerlessness, fear of the future, emotions that one door facing the environmental crisis, political and social that we are sometimes heavy crosses to bear. Especially when the door alone. Or that hides the well deep in his stomach.
And if you opened the door to let them out for a moment?
This multidisciplinary creation is inspired of Labour Connects, including Joanna Macy is the instigator. Our research from Labour that Connects pushed us to question: how is it that we know we are heading towards global suicide and still we continue to act as if nothing had happened? What impact this collective repression he has on our unconscious? How to accept our emotions without sinking with them?
Work that Connect is a journey both spiritual, scientific and engaged for offering to host our sorrow to climate change, and seek to reconnect to that nature to which we belong. This approach offers a path through gratitude, the penalty for the world, a change of look to finally find the strength to move forward and participate in the change of direction we need. A path that has inspired us.
Reconnect is a collective work that invites you to share a poetic moment before our uncertainties, our vulnerability to this reality that is beyond us. But also to reconnect with our collective power, our hopes and the little time that make us want to be alive.
