The elements of this ephemeral work will desintegrate with time and return to nature. It may last further than the ArtCOP21 limit of December 31, 2015.

Turning Point is a temporary sculptural piece in the woods, using fallen twigs and branches found nearby, and based on a symbolic depiction of the sun. It is open to the public, and will remain in place until it disintegrates.
With this work, I did not want to buy into ‘doom and gloom’ narratives, for I believe that only makes these woes more likely to happen. If we get it right, COP21 could be the beginning of a new era of harmony with each other and our environment – or at least a step in the right direction.
