Witness the Beginning viscerally surrounds spectators with the culture and customs of a re-imagined human tribe. The production explores their relationship to the ecosystem they inhabit, inspiring us to reconsider our own connections with Mother Earth.
nocturne is proud to present their debut creation, Witness the Beginning, an immersive experience that examines humanity in its purest form. The performance will occur for one-night-only on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. The event will take place in a secret Brooklyn warehouse near the Gowanus Canal. The exact location will be revealed to the public one week before the show. Audience members are invited to stay after the performance for a post-show celebration with an open bar, live music by Alter, and a DJ set by PennyWild, both New York-based artists.
Directed by Drew Weinstein, Witness the Beginning viscerally surrounds spectators with the breath of a world at the dawn of human civilization. During the performance, the audience takes part in the culture and customs of a re-imagined human tribe in a production that explores their relationship with Mother Earth.
